Don Shrensky & Co.was started by Don Shrensky in January 1997. Ron Zalben became a partner in July 2007.

Our clientele includes small to medium size businesses, individuals, partnerships, companies, and non-profit organizations. Our firm, which employs 19 professionals, provides accounting, financial and tax services. We specialize in Israeli and United States cross-border tax planning and compliance, pre-Aliya tax planning, estate planning, personal financial planning and start-up business planning. Don Shrenskyhas a BA from Rutgers University and a JD from Seton Hall University Law School. He qualified as an attorney in New Jersey and as a CPA in New York and Israel.

He is affiliated with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Don has eleven years experience in a New York City firm of certified public accountants, including three years as a partner, specializing in estate taxes and fiduciary income taxes.

After moving to Israel in 1981 he acquired six years industrial experience in Israel as chief accountant for an international company, manufacturing electronic medical equipment. The Israeli company, which was 50% owned by an American company and 50% by one of Israel's conglomerates, itself owned three European subsidiaries and a branch in Australia.

In January 1988, Don joined Graham Feldman's certified public accounting practice as a partner. In April 1992, Michael Brody's practice was merged under the firm name, Feldman Shrensky Brody & Co. Don Shrensky & Co. was started in January 1997.

Don frequently speaks at locally sponsored seminars and on Israeli radio and television on topics related to taxation and finance and writes articles appearing in local newspapers. He is a member of the Board of Directors of several Israeli non-profit organizations, including the Jerusalem Rotary Club, where he served as President (2003-2004) and the Jerusalem Rotary Foundation, where he served as treasurer. He served as National Treasurer (1994-98) and National Vice-President (1998-99) of the AACI – Association of American and Canadians in Israel.

Ron Zalbenhas a BS from Bradley University, Peoria, Il and MS (management) from University Wisconsin (Milw). He is a qualified CPA in Wisconsin and Israel.

He is affiliated with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Wisconsin Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Ron has 7 years experience working for two CPA firms in Wisconsin. Ron made aliya in 2002. He worked for a private publishing company for six months, while attending ulpan. He joined Don Shrensky & Co. as a senior staffer in April 2003. He became a partner in July 2007.
